About the Event
As part of the Burns Night celebrations, POVESTRY is delighted to invite you to our Cooking with Burns - A Multicultural Feast event!
Signup required: https://forms.gle/47bmuM1oJqZUFanV9
Come along to share food, stories and traditions from wherever you call home!
If you would like to cook and share a traditional meal, you can collect a free goody bag with ingredients from Bee’s Knees Café (available 12-5pm on Thursday, 20th January). You will notice the ingredients are traditionally connected to a Burns Supper; you can play around with the ingredients, change and adapt them to become part of your favourite traditional dish. In this way, we’ll all be contributing toward making a multicultural Burns Supper.
The ingredients included in the goody bag are for either a savoury or a sweet dish: potatoes, carrots, turnip, onion, garlic, veggie haggis, sugar, strawberries, eggs, butter, shortbread biscuits, and milk.
